Pu-Erh tea culture started during the Eastern Han dynasty. It started to prosper during the Yunnan Tea Horse Road Trade inTang and Song dynasty. It was the most prosperous in Ming and Qing dynasty, declined in the late Qing Dynasty and was revived in the 1990s. With its long history, unique qualities,and significant therapeutic effects, Pu-Erh tea has a great reputation in China and overseas. Pu-Erh tea is very popular among tea lovers in Tibet, Northwestern China, Inner Mongolia, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Southeastern Asian countries.
